One point that hasn't been mentioned: Other opaque projectors have a space at the bottom, where the original can be placed, with the projector resting on top. This lets you use odd-sized or over-sized originals (books, for example -- or even 3-D objects) and locate the right area that you want to project, by simply moving the projector (or the original) around a bit. Even Artograph's other projectors work this way.But this model wants you to fix the original in place on TOP of the machine, above the mirror and lens, using a couple of metal strips. And there's no sheet of glass to rest the original on -- you're supposed to use these 2 metal strips (as I understand it) to hold it up, and make it hover over the mirror. There's no way to know exactly the right place to put the key part of the original. And if the original is not a suitable size to fit within the parameters of the projector and its metal strips, well you are out of luck. NOT practical!My solution? Turn the whole thing upside-down, leave the lid open and set it down on top of the original. Works for me! But maybe somebody else can make another suggestion, or point-out something I am missing.Otherwise, I am very happy with it so far. I was given a Magnajector as a kid, many years ago, used it countless times, and this is a nice upgrade from that (once I turn it upside-down!). Reasonably priced, with strong and clear projection.

The day I received the projector I began using it. The only glitch in putting it together was the lens. Looking at the photo on the box I thought the glass part of the lens was installed outward, this is incorrect. I reinstalled the lens to face inward and have had no further problems. I ordered this product as I am putting together decorations for a dance and needed to have tall drawings; my first drawing was an 8 foot giraffe. The lines were easy to draw from, although make sure it is as dark as possible in the room. I would highly recommend this product.

Enlarges clearly and larger than expected. I use this to transfer my photos or drawings to canvas. I am very happy with this product.
