Oh my goodness... I searched high and low for this particular "globox" and I finally received it as a gift for my birthday. I LOVE IT! It's so easy to use... it's convenient and I can take it to any class and not worry about getting in the way of other participants (which the larger lightboxes tend to do.) I am very pleased with this and would recommend it to anyone that wants a petite, portable light source! :o)

I am new to card making and wanted the ability to dry emboss them. This light box is disappointing in that the light is only bright in the center. The other problem is you must use only white or very light colored card stock. I wanted to use this to make Christmas cards only to discover that even medium colored paper is too dark to see the stencil, making it worthless for my project. I gave it three stars because if you stay with light colored paper and use stencils that are not much larger than three inches it will get the job done.

I needed a small portable light box. Not much space around my computer. I am saving my old photo slides to digital format and needed to make sure the slides are clean and dust free before saving them. It is great for viewing the slides. Top can hold my cleaning supplies.
