I'm not a beginning artist. I've been earning commission on some of my work for a while, but I've always had a problem with drawing larger scale things. This is perfect for me. I can draw a nice sized picture and use this to enlarge it and trace onto a larger medium.It's sometimes hard to find a wall space big enough for what I need, but that's more my fault than the items.

For being a very inexpensive projector, it works remarkably well. I must admit that at first, I didn't read the instructions and of course I couldn't get it to project properly. So, I backtracked and did what I should have done to begin with, and figured out how to make it work perfectly. While it isn't the quality of a $500 projector, it does amazingly well for the price. I would definitely buy it again, now that I have figured out how it works. Oh, and it doesn't come with the lightbulb needed to use it, so if you plan to use it right away, have a 75 watt household light bulb available to use. Would definitely recommend. Quick shipping.

I find this useful in my art, as sometimes I want a particular item's outline before I begin a drawing or painting. Saves me a lot of time.
